Exponent is a short way of writing repeated self multiplication. Example, 2³ = 2 x 2 x 2, the exponent denotes how many times 2 is multiplied to it self.

Powers are often referred as the exponent. Powers represent the base and the exponent, also it is defined as the product of repeated self multiplication.

The answer of 24³ = 13, 824 is the power.
